No. 24 Ohio State snapped their two-game losing streak in their regular-season finale on Saturday against Michigan State, 69-67. The upset victory bolstered the Buckeyes' confidence at just the right time.

"We're looking for the same thing we look for every year - win the Big Ten championship," Ohio State junior forward Sam Thompson said, via ESPN. "Our goals haven't changed because of our seed or because of losses in the regular season."

The Buckeyes (24-8) followed their victory against the Spartans with a 63-61 win against Purdue in Wednesday's first round of the Big Ten tournament. Junior forward LaQuinton Ross recorded 19 points and 15 rebounds, and senior guard Aaron Craft chipped in with 16 points and five assists.

Nebraska, meanwhile, has gotten hot down the stretch of the season. The Cornhuskers (19-11) finished their regular season winning 11 of their last 14 games, including their finale on Sunday against then-No. 9 Wisconsin.

Their surprising finish to the season earned them a first-round bye in the league tournament, something coach Tim Miles is proud of.

"I really thought if this team could get to .500 in the league, it would be a special accomplishment," said Miles, who won the Big Ten Coach of the Year. "For us to go 11-7 in this league, which is (ranked) one or two in the country, is really an amazing performance by our guys."
