Angus T. Jones, Former 'Two And A Half Men' Star, Claims He Was A 'Hypocrite' For Staying On Series Despite His Christian Beliefs (VIDEO)

Former "Two and A Half Men" star Angus T. Jones felt he was being a hypocrite by staying on the popular sitcom even after he knew they went against his personal religious beliefs.

In an interview with KHOU 11 News, Jones claimed he found being on the show became increasingly harder once he realized he wasn't living the life he wanted to as a Christian.

"It was difficult for me to be on the show and be part of something that was making light of topics in our world where there are really problems for a lot of people," Jones told KHOU 11 News. "I was a paid hypocrite because I wasn't OK with it and I was still doing it."

Jones left the series after the contract ended about a year ago, but not before openly bashing the show in several interviews. Jones admitted his approach of expressing his discontent with the series created by Chuck Lore could have been handled differently. However, he still doesn't believe people should be watching the sitcom.

"That's his like baby and I just totally insulted his baby and to that degree I am apologetic but otherwise I don't regret saying what I said," said Jones.

Since his departure from the hit series, Jones has become a follower of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, spreading his story about the struggles of in the Hollywood spotlight. Jones admitted he is interested in doing a few productions with Bible-based stories, but you won't see him on a television set any time soon.

"I really want to come into the light because I know that is where the healing is and I've seen God do amazing things," said Jones.

While starring in the show "Two and A Half Men," Jones was the highest paid child actor, commanding $300,000 an episode at his peak.
