Cincinnati heads into Thursday's contest looking to bounce back from their 58-56 AAC tournament loss to Connecticut. Opponents will key on senior guard Sean Kilpatrick, who is averaging a team-high 20.7 points per game. The New York native's improvement from last season to now is a big reason for fifth-seeded Bearcat's success.

"I think the most improved part of his game is his leadership," Cincinnati forward Titus Rubles told the Associated Press. "Last year he got buckets, of course, but he was a little more silent. But this year he's more of a leader and he takes a leadership role. When we get down, he keeps people composed."

Teammate Justin Jackson added, "He's a ball player. When it gets down to it he's going to it, he's going to do what it takes to win the game."

Harvard's success this season earned them a spot in March Madness and made them the subject of rumors. Crimson coach Tommy Amaker was mentioned as a possible candidate to replace Boston College coach Steve Donahue, whom the school fired on Tuesday, according to the Associated Press.

Amaker, though, dismissed the speculation.

"There's nothing to address. There's nothing for me to talk about, to comment on. I can't address speculation about so many things all the time," Amaker said. "But I understand the question and I certainly appreciate obviously, again, for the Boston and greater Boston area to want some type of comment from me. But my comment is exactly what I mentioned before, that I don't like to comment on other situations or jobs."
