2 Kilograms Of Cocaine Found In Child Seat During Massachusetts Traffic Stop

Authorities in Massachusetts discovered two kilograms of cocaine hidden in a child's car seat during a traffic stop on Saturday, WGGB-TV reported.

A state trooper pulled the vehicle over in Everett after witnessing the driver commit several violations, including failure to signal and marked lanes violations. As police began to search the car, they came across the drugs in the seat.

There was no child in the vehicle.

The driver, Royer Vasquez Delrosario, 24, of Garfield, N.J., and passenger, Victor Nicolas Soto Sanchez, 29, of Bronx, N.Y., were arrested on drug trafficking charges. They are scheduled for arraignment in Malden District Court.

Delrosario and Sanchez were being held in jail on $10,000 bail. It is unknown if either suspect has legal representation.

The Massachusetts State Police also had a huge drug bust in December when they found 1,250 bags of heroin labeled "OBAMA CARE" during a traffic stop.

A trooper noticed a driver making several traffic violations along Interstate 91 and pulled them over in Hatfield. After speaking with the driver, who was not licensed, and three passengers, the trooper saw evidence of illegal drugs and requested a K-9 unit.

The K-9, Frankie, found the bags of heroin and led to the arrest of all four people in the vehicle.

Also in December, authorities in Delaware discovered 2,000 bags of heroin and marijuana abandoned by a man they tried to pull over in a traffic stop.

After a state trooper tried stopping the car in Millsboro, the driver sped away and the officer lost sight of the vehicle. However, he soon located the car in a parking lot and stopped the driver there.

Once officers inspected the parking lot, they discovered two bags holding 34 grams of heroin in 2,292 baggies and 119 grams of marijuana. Additionally, a car search led to the discovery of another 46 grams of marijuana and $2,312. The driver also had $1,977 in his pocket.
