The latest "Watch Dogs" trailer explores the setting in which Ubisoft's upcoming title takes place: Chicago.
In the trailer, gamers learn Aiden Pearce is connected to everything and everyone in Chicago. It will be up to the player as to whose electronics they wish to hack during the open world gameplay. However, gamers should be wary as to the cell phone they are tapping into for fun.
Each civilian in "Watch Dogs" has a story, some being more dangerous than others. If Pearce crosses the wrong person, there will be a bounty placed on his head or the local authorities on his tail after the media plasters his image on the news. Each civilian will also have their over story line, making it a more diverse open world experience.
"Chicago. The Windy City. Home to deep dish pizzas and Wrigley Field. Chicago is also the most surveilled city in the world, which makes it the perfect setting for Watch Dogs," Ubisoft wrote on their official blog. "We've shared our insights about Chicago with you already, but now we're back to show you why the Second City will become a premiere destination, thanks in part to the powerful next-gen engine Watch Dogs is built on."
