‘The Walking Dead’ Season 4 Finale Spoilers: Robert Kirkman Says Sunday’s Episode will Leave Fans in ‘Shock’

Can you believe there's only one episode left in Season 4 of "The Walking Dead?" We can't. It seems like the show is just starting to pick up again. In the Mar. 23 episode fans saw one group arrive at Terminus.

Glenn, Maggie, Sasha, Bob, Tara, Rosita, Eugene and Abraham were welcomed by a lady named Mary once they were safely inside the gates. The entire season has been leading up to our favorite characters, hopefully, reconnecting at this supposed safe haven.

Now that fans have gotten a glimpse of Terminus, everyone wants to know what it is; who's there; and is it safe? Executive Producer Robert Kirkman promised that some of those questions will be answered on Sunday.

He recently spoke about the finale to Entertainment Weekly saying that it's definitely going to "shock people." Kirkman said whether the Prison group reunites will all come down to Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln).

"This last half of season 4 has been a character defining group of stories for everyone," Kirkman told EW. "But really, Rick Grimes - really finding what this guy is going to be able to do to get these people back together and where is he going to go from here? And I think there are some big questions that are asked that are going to be answered in this final episode."

"This is Rick Grimes being pushed to his absolute limit. And if you think you've seen that before, you haven't," he added. "And the Rick Grimes that comes out of this is really going to shock people."

Kirkman said the final episode will be "bringing things to another level" and it's going to leave fans anticipating Season 5, which airs in the fall.

So is Terminus going to be like the prison and provide everyone with a sense of safety? We sure hope so. After such a long journey on the road again, it would be nice to see the characters take a break and relax but this is "The Walking Dead" and there's a slight chance that's going to happen.

Josh McDermitt (who plays Eugene) told MTV News that he thinks people will be happy with Terminus.

"This group just lost the prison. They're on the railroad to find each other," he said. "Hopefully, Terminus becomes this thing where everyone can regroup and rebuild their lives. We know Rick and Michonne and Carl are on their way there. Are we going to meet them there? What's going to happen? I don't know."

What do you think about Terminus? Do you trust Mary?
