The Miami Dolphins reportedly signed ex-Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno on Thursday to a one-year deal. Miami is also trying to trade receiver Mike Wallace again, Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports.
Miami and Moreno agreed to a one-year deal worth $3 million, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Moreno, entering his sixth year, will join Lamar Miller and Daniel Thomas in the Dolphins' backfield, where the team hopes to improve after finishing 26th in rushing last season.
The 12th overall pick of the 2009 draft is coming off a career-best 1,038 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.
Miami, meanwhile, reportedly is again looking to trade Wallace.
"Fins have renewed attempts to trade WR Mike Wallace during the league meetings," CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora tweeted on Wednesday. "Teams doing homework on him. Contract makes it a tough trade."
Wallace, who signed a five-year contract worth $80 million last season, didn't live up to expectations during his inaugural season with Miami. The 27-year-old finished with 73 receptions for 930 yards and five touchdowns, a noticeable drop in production from his days in Pittsburgh.
La Canfora also mentioned the possibility Miami swapping Wallace for Philadelphia Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson.
"Some around the league wonder if a DeSean Jackson for Mike Wallace trade would make sense for all parties," La Canfora wrote shortly after his first tweet.
Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, however, claims the Dolphins haven't spoken to any teams about trading Wallace.
