New Zealand sits third in the Group 1 standings after a nine-run win (D/L Method) against England and a two-run loss against South Africa. Ross Taylor and Kane Williamson were the only real sources of offense against South Africa, with Taylor scoring 62 runs and Williamson scoring 51 runs. The rest of the New Zealand batsmen struggled against the South Africa, whose Dale Steyn took four wickets in the game.
Netherlands, meanwhile, is winless and sits at the bottom of the group standings. The team lost by nine wickets to Sri Lanka and by six runs to South Africa. While Netherland's bowlers, particularly Ahsan Malik, have played well, their batsmen have struggled to produce. Stephan Myburgh scored a team-high 51 runs; the second-highest scorer was Tom Cooper with 16 runs.
