The Tennessee Volunteers play the Michigan Wolverines on Friday in the 2014 NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16 round. Tipoff is at 7:15 p.m. ET on CBS. Watch the live stream or listen to the radio broadcast via the links provided below.
Two-seed Michigan defeated Wofford and Texas to earn a spot in the Sweet 16. The Wolverines' high-scoring offense, powered by sophomores Nik Stauskas and Glenn Robinson III, is the main reason the team boasts a 27-8 record.
While it helps to have Stauskas, the Big Ten player of the year and Michigan's leading scorer, Wolverines coach John Beilein is expecting stingy defense from the 11th-seeded Vols.
"I don't know (Tennessee coach Cuonzo Martin) very much. I do know he played with Glenn Robinson Jr. and knowing that he comes from the Gene Keady, Matt Painter type of background, I know they're going to guard," Beilein told the Associated Press. "As they build their program, they're going to build it off their defense."
Tennessee, meanwhile, advanced from the first round to the Sweet 16 with wins against Iowa, Massachusetts and Mercer. Their latest victory, an 83-63 blowout of Mercer in the third round, has the Vols rolling into Friday's game confident about their chances of reaching the Elite 8.
Junior forward Jarnell Stokes, the team's leading scorer and rebounder, has had the hot hand for Tennessee. Through the Vols' first three NCAA tournament games, Stokes is averaging 20.3 points and 15 rebounds.
