A stabbing attack in Happy Valley, Oregon left one man dead on Sunday, KOIN-TV reported.
Following the incident, the suspect barricaded himself inside of the Easton Ridge apartments in Clackamas County -- prompting a standoff involving the Special Weapons and Tactics.
The standoff ended Monday morning, resulting in the arrest of the suspect.
The names of the victim and suspect have not been released.
According to a spokesperson for the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, witnesses saw the suspect run from the scene of the stabbing at another apartment.
An investigation into the suspect and the attack is underway and authorities said there is no threat to the public.
