New York Teen, Kwasi Enin, Accepted Into Every Ivy League School

A high school senior in New York is making headlines for being accepted into every Ivy League school, ABC News reported.

The next step for Kwasi Enin, 17, will be to pick from Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, and the University of Pennsylvania.

"By applying to all eight, I figured it would better the changes of getting into one," he told the New York Daily News.

Enin's teachers at William Floyd High School are not surprised by his incredible acceptance list. He reached nearly perfect scores on the SAT exam and Advanced Placement (AP) exams, in addition to being an athlete and singer.

According to ABC, Enin got a 2,250 out of 2,400 on the SAT -- placing him in the 99th percentile.

Enin mentioned several of his relatives have been accepted to several of the competitive schools as well. He also has yet to make a decision but is reportedly leaning toward Yale.

"They seem to embody all the kinds of things I want in a college," Enin told Newsday. "The family. The wonderful education. The amazing diverse students. Financial aid as well."

Enin, a first-generation American whose parents immigrated from Ghana, told local media he'd like to be a cardiologist or neurologist.

Aside from the country's group of most prestigious schools, Enin was also accepted to Duke, Stony Brook University, SUNY Geneseo, and Binghamton University.
