Fans eagerly awaiting the "Watch Dogs" launch will have to wait until the release date to get their hands on gameplay as Ubisoft has no plans on releasing a demo before it hits store shelves.
"Watch Dogs" Creative Director Jonathan Morin responded to a fan who was persistent about knowing if the title will have a demo. Morin finally got around to answering the question on March 29.
"@Rawfan306 Dude relax, I receive too much tweets... They are no demo planned before release. Sorry for the wait, doing my best," Morin wrote.
"Watch Dogs" will be released for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC on May 27. For those unfamiliar with Ubisoft's hack-inspired title, check out the synopsis below:
"Hacking is your weapon. Control the city of Chicago. Become Aiden Pearce, a brilliant hacker but also a former thug, whose criminal past lead to a violent family tragedy. "Watch Dogs" open world gameplay Pearce is connected to everyone. There is not phone Peatce cannot hack into and Chicago is at the hacker's mercy, according to Ubisoft's latest blog post.
"Chicago. The Windy City. Home to deep dish pizzas and Wrigley Field. Chicago is also the most surveilled city in the world, which makes it the perfect setting for Watch Dogs," Ubisoft wrote. "We've shared our insights about Chicago with you already, but now we're back to show you why the Second City will become a premiere destination, thanks in part to the powerful next-gen engine Watch Dogs is built on."
