Atlanta bounced back from their Opening Day loss against Milwaukee with a 5-2 win on Tuesday. Braves slugger Freddie Freeman hit two solo homers to help lift Atlanta over Milwaukee.
"I don't know what it is. I've always struggled here," Freeman said of playing at Miller Park, via ESPN. "It's nice. I was obviously due."
Aaron Harang takes the mound on Wednesday for the Braves, who acquired the right-hander to add a veteran presence in their pitching rotation.
"We did not want to go into the season with really four young guys and just not have any coverage for them," Braves general manager Frank Wren told the team website, via ESPN. "This gives us someone who has been through the battles and knows what to do and knows how to handle things. Similar to Freddy (Garcia), but we just felt (Harang) was a better fit for us."
Matt Garza makes his debut for Milwaukee after finishing last season with a 6-1 record and 3.17 ERA for the Cubs.
"I think (Garza) is going to just make us that much better. Having that opportunity was a big move for us," Brewers pitcher Yovani Gallardo told the team website. "He has fun, but yet again, he takes care of business whenever he has to."
