What a year it's been for "Big Bang Theory" actress Kaley Cuoco. The 28-year-old had a (very brief) romance with "Batman Vs. Superman" actor Henry Cavill and then met and married tennis star Ryan Sweeting.
In the May issue of Cosmopolitan, Cuoco opens up about dating Superman and her whirlwind romance with Sweeting.
"I had no one following me until I met Superman," she told Cosmopolitan. "I've been in this business for 20 years, and my whole life, I could go anywhere, do anything. There had not been one paparazzi photo of me until like several months ago. The recognition was crazy."
Cuoco made headlines over the summer when she started dating Cavill but the relationship only lasted for two weeks. Shortly after the split, she met Sweeting. After a few months of dating, the couple announced their engagement.
"I admit it happened fast, but that's who I am," she said. "When we met, I knew he was the one. [At my wedding], I felt like a rock star and a badass. What was amazing in that room, it was so full of love. It was like nothing I'd ever been to before, and it was exactly what we wanted it to be. It was the eighth wonder of the world, the greatest wedding of all time."
Sweeting and Cuoco tied-the-knight on New Year's Eve in a fire-and-ice themed wedding. At the time, a source told US Weekly that the actress greeted her guests in a red dress and then changed into a pink Vera Wang gown for the ceremony.
"From day one, I just knew immediately and it's been magic. We have all the same family friends. We grew up with the same people, we just never met. So I kind of felt that I've known him my whole life," Cuoco previously told "Entertainment Tonight."
To celebrate their nuptials, Sweeting got the actress' name tattooed on his arm and Cuoco got her wedding date tattooed on her upper back.
