Peaches Geldof, British TV Personality, Found Dead At 25

Peaches Geldof, a British television personality, model, and writer, was found dead at home on Monday, USA TODAY reported.

Geldof, 25, was the daughter of Sir Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates. Her father released a statement to the Associated Press following news of her death.

"Peaches has died. We are beyond pain."

"She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us," he said. "Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?"

According to a report by the BBC, police were called to an address in Wrothham, England on Monday afternoon. The victim, later identified as Geldof, was pronounced dead by the South East Coast Ambulance Service.

"At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained and sudden," Kent Police said in a statement.

Geldof is survived by her husband, Thomas Cohen, and their two young sons -- Astala, who will turn 2 this month, and Phaedra, who will turn 1 this month.

Cohen released a somber statement after news of Geldof's death as well.

"My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons Astala and Phaedra, and I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts every day. We shall love her forever," Cohen said in a statement, reported by the AP.

In September 2000, Geldof's mother died of a drug overdose when she was just 11-years-old.

Many people took to Twitter to express their sympathies and condolences to Geldof's family.

"Unbearable news about peaches geldof. Thinking of her family at this terrible time. RIP," Davina McCall tweeted.

"xHeartbreaking to hear of peaches geldof," Gemma Oaten tweeted. "So young. A mother. Heart goes out to her babies. She's with her Mum now. Life's too short x RIP."
