Terrell Owens wants to be ABC's first black "Bachelor." The former NFL star made his case during a HangW/ session video saying that he is ready to "find someone special" and thinks the dating reality show would be the perfect opportunity for him to find Mrs. Owens.
"They've never had a black Bachelor - it's always been interesting why there hasn't been," Owens said. "I think maybe they feel there is not an audience for it, I don't know. But I'm a guy, I feel like, of good taste, good quality. I've had my share of women, so to speak, and it's a time. I'm definitely prepped to go to bigger and better things with my life. I am looking for a special someone."
"I've been through the ups and downs, highs and lows. I think I'm... it's about that time... I'm thinking I'm ready," he added.
Also in the video vouching for the athlete were actors Lorenzo Lamas and Ian Ziering. If T.O. really is interested in becoming the next "Bachelor," he already has some connections. Lamas' daughter, Shayne Lamas, was the Season 12 winner.
It's no secret that Owens has been unlucky in the love department. His wife, postal worker Rachel Snider, filed for divorce in January after being married to the athlete for two weeks. Some of his relationship issues also played out on VH1's "The T.O. Show."
