Pittsburgh Pirates Vs. Chicago Cubs Live Radio Broadcast: Game 3, MLB 2014 (LISTEN)

The Pittsburgh Pirates play the Chicago Cubs on Thursday. The game begins at 2:20 p.m. ET. Listen to the radio broadcast below.

After losing the first three-game series at Pittsburgh, the Cubs now have a chance to win the series at home. Chicago's offense has started to come alive over the past two games, losing 7-6 in Game 1 before bouncing back with a 7-5 win on Wednesday.

Bears first baseman Mike Olt accounted for two hits - including one homer - and three RBIs, and outfielder Junior Lake notched two RBIs.

Things may be more difficult for Chicago's offense on Thursday when Pirates pitcher Gerrit Cole (1-0, 2.57 ERA) takes the mound. Cole posted a 2-0 record with a 2.08 ERA in two starts against the Cubs last season, according to the Associated Press.

Cole is coming off a 12-2 win on Friday against St. Louis. Although he threw 108 pitches in the game, he allowed just two earned runs through seven innings.

"His command was come-and-go," Pirates manager Clint Hurdle told the team website, via the Associated Press. "To average 15 pitches on a night you're not sharp ... that speaks to his ability to go out there against a good lineup and find a way to get things done when he doesn't have his best stuff."

Opposing Cole will be Cubs pitcher Travis Wood (0-1, 4.26). Wood went 1-1 with a 1.50 ERA in his three starts against Pittsburgh last season. Even more impressive, Wood did it while receiving only one run of support during those starts.

Wood looks to bounce back from Friday's 7-2 loss against Philadelphia, who scored three earned runs on him.
