The Miami Marlins play the Washington Nationals on Thursday in Game 2 of their three-game series. The game starts at 4:05 p.m. ET. Listen to the live radio broadcast below.
Washington (6-2) overcame an early 5-0 deficit to win on Wednesday, 10-7. Nationals slugger Bryce Harper delivered a three-run homer in the fourth inning, and Jayson Werth sealed the win with a go-ahead grand slam homerun in the eighth inning.
Miami seemingly encouraged Werth to make the most of his at-bat when they intentionally walked Anthony Rendon to get to Werth.
"Knowing Jayson, if the pitcher looks at him wrong, he'll take that personally," Nationals relief pitcher Craig Stammen told the Associated Press. "So them blatantly walking to get to him - typically they don't walk to get to your 3-hole hitter, especially a veteran guy that's proven he can get big hits. But they chose to, and it worked out in our favor this time."
Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg (0-1, 5.56 ERA) will take the mound on Thursday with the hopes of improving his season. He gave up four runs to the New York Mets in the season opener, and he gave up three runs in his following start against Atlanta.
Dueling Strasburg will be Marlins pitcher Tom Koehler (1-0, 3.00). Koehler gave up only two runs in his start on Friday against San Diego.
