A gym teacher from Bronx was fired after she refused a threesome with her lady boss and her boyfriend.
Carisa Gaylardo, 30, who worked as a physical education teacher at the Riverdale/Kingsbridge Academy, filed a lawsuit against 41-year-old Sofia Memos, a gym teacher at the school stating that she was given low ratings and removed from the institute last year. She accused Memos of texting her and demanding that she agree to a threesome with Memos and her boyfriend.
Gaylardo's lawsuit states that Memos accused her of having a "flirtatious" relationship with a student she'd been mentoring. After Department of Education investigated the matter she was fired ending her 6-year-tenure at the city school.
Memos' complaint to the school officials stated the relationship Gaylardo was sharing with the teen made her "uncomfortable." "I have observed a rapport between them that had made me feel uncomfortable." She called their behavior "flirtatious" and added, "Gaylardo's unprofessionalism has only encouraged it by allowing (the student) to come into our office on many occasions to just chat. I have witnessed them giggling and laughing together many times."
According to Gaylardo, she was just a mentor to the teen, who was handling three sports and school. The teen and his mother also said that Gaylardo did not have an illegitimate relationship with the student.
"It is wrong that such a good person...is suffering simply for helping me with my struggles," the teen wrote in an affidavit supporting Gaylardo, reports the New York Daily News. The teen's mother said that Gaylardo is "a blessing to my daughter and the rest of our family...She is the greatest role model in my daughter's life."
Gaylardo maintained that Memos' accusations resulted in her being listed among people not eligible to teach in city schools based "simply on the frequency of communications without any finding of inappropriate contact or intent."
