A woman in Utah was arrested on Sunday after authorities discovered seven dead infants inside of her home, KSL.com reported.
Officers were responding to a report of a deceased infant on Saturday when they made the gruesome discovery in Pleasant Grove. Once police found the infant, they obtained a search warrant for the rest of the house.
During the search, officers found six other dead babies -- all packaged in separate containers.
According to investigators, Megan Huntsman, 39, gave birth to the babies and then killed them over a ten-year period. Her ex-husband is believed to be the father of all the children, but police are waiting on DNA tests.
Huntsman was booked into Utah County Jail and faces six counts of murder.
Huntman's ex-husband's parents own the home, according to neighbor Sharon Chipman. Currently, Huntsman's three daughters, ages ranging from 13 to 20, are living at the home, the Salt Lake Tribune said.
An investigation is ongoing.
