Ubisoft's "Watch Dogs" is reportedly set to launch for Nintendo's Wii U this fall.
The hacker-inspired title is available for pre-order on the Uplay store now. The "Watch Dogs" game listing for the WiiU states the game will be available for Fall 2014. Ubisoft has yet to confirm an official release date for the Wii U, but will launch "Watch Dogs" for the PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4 on May 27.
However, only the PS3 and PS4 will receive exclusive downloadable content in honor of the game's official release. Check out the description of the DLC and the PlayStation exclusive trailer below:
"After Aiden gets tangled up with notorious hacker group DedSec, he'll receive a message from some members who need his help. Aiden will take on the security network of Umeni Technologies and - using his brains and brawn - deliver payback for DedSec. These missions will deliver 60 minute of gameplay, and will provide even more insight into the mysterious group of hackers who are on the front lines of the fight freedom and security."
PlayStation gamers will also receive a "hackers" bonus during their "Watch Dogs" gameplay, as well as a new outfit for Aiden Pearce. Ubisoft has also released a trailer detailing the setting and gameplay for "Watch Dogs."
"Chicago. The Windy City. Home to deep dish pizzas and Wrigley Field. Chicago is also the most surveilled city in the world, which makes it the perfect setting for Watch Dogs," Ubisoft wrote on their official blog. "We've shared our insights about Chicago with you already, but now we're back to show you why the Second City will become a premiere destination, thanks in part to the powerful next-gen engine Watch Dogs is built on."
