Chennai heads into Monday looking for their first win of the season. They lost their opener to Punjab by six wickets, despite a solid batting performance; their bowlers managed to take only four wickets. Despite the 0-1 record to begin the season, Chennai remains confident with their squad.
"This is not the first time that we have lost the first match of the tournament," Chennai's Ravindra Jadeja said, via CricBuzz. "We generally start off slowly and then catch up momentum going into the tournament. So, there is nothing to worry about."
Delhi, meanwhile, is 1-1. They dropped their season opener against Bangalore by eight wickets, and then bounced back with a four-wicket win over Kolkata. Nathan Coulter-Nile took two of the team's five wickets, and both Jean-Paul Duminy and skipper Dinesh Karthik scored past the half century mark with 52 runs and 56 runs, respectively.
