Miami leads the series 1-0 after winning the first game, 99-88. The Heat trailed in the first quarter then bounced back to take the lead in the second and never looked back. Heat star LeBron James scored a game-high 27 points while grabbing nine rebounds, and guard Dwyane Wade added 23 points.

Bobcats guard Kemba Walker led Charlotte's scoring efforts with 20 points. Center Al Jefferson nabbed a game-high 10 rebounds while adding 18 points, and guard Gary Neal chipped in with 17 points.

Jefferson, though, suffered a plantar fascia strain in his left foot during the first quarter of the game. His status is uncertain, although he told the Associated Press he plans to play in Game 2.

He was still in a walking boot when he arrived for the Wednesday morning shoot around.

"It's really going to be depending on his level of pain right before the game because in order to give him as much time as possible to heal, they're going to keep the walking boot on there," Bobcats coach Steve Clifford told the Associated Press. "My understanding is that we really won't know until they take it off and he tries to put more weight and pressure on his foot."

If Jefferson is sidelined or limited on Wednesday, the Heat expect Walker to have an even more prominent role in Charlotte's offense.
