The "Girls Next Door" star, Holly Madison, is standing by her man.
The day Madison announced that she and Pasquale Rotella are tying the knot on Aug. 14, Rotella appeared in a Los Angeles court for a pretrial conference, Radar Online reports.
The event planner allegedly used more than $2.5 million in funds from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, where he hosts raves, to pay off city officials. Rotella was indicted along with five other men from his company, Insomniac events.
Rotella posted bail for $1.8 million but if convicted could face up to 13 years in prison on charges for bribery, embezzlement, conspiracy and conflict of interest.
He'ss scheduled to appear in court on July 29, a couple weeks before the wedding. Despite all the legal trouble, Rotella and his lawyer remain confident that he will be vindicated.
"(Rotella) has always acted lawfully and appropriately with respect to all of his dealings with the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum," Rotella's attorney, Gary Jay Kaufman, said last year. "Any allegations of wrongdoing on the part of Mr. Rotella by the District Attorney's office are completely baseless and flat-out wrong, both on the law and on the facts. Any charges against Mr. Rotella are clearly politically motivated and publicity driven."
Madison also doesn't seem fazed by all the allegations telling People magazine in a recent interview that she plans on having a "Kardashian-sized family."
The former reality star and Playboy model is trying to put all of his legal troubles aside and focus on her new family. In March, Madison and Rotella, welcomed their first baby, Rainbow Aurora.
