Arsenal hosts Wigan Athletic on Tuesday in a Premier League showdown.
The Gunners need a win on Tuesday to keep ahead in the Premier League standings. Arsenal is intent on finishing the season strong and has the opportunity to finish in the top-five.
"We're on a remarkable run, we have been hugely consistent and we are in a position where our destiny depends on us and we want to finish the job," Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said ahead of Tuesday's match.
Wigan, ranked No. 18, could roll into Emirates Stadium with momentum from their FA Cup win on Saturday. Wenger knows his club will have to be at their best on Tuesday.
"Wigan had a contrasting week because they were on a low against Swansea when they lost at home, a game that of course was a massive game for them, but you could see on Saturday they have quality and they played a remarkable game when they played against Man City," Wenger said.
Wigan manager Roberto Martinez, however, is worried about the fatigue of his players after defeating Manchester City at Wembley. The club faces relegation, and anything less than a win on Tuesday could send them down, according to ESPN.
"There is no margin for error, you need to win your 'finals' — that could be survival or winning trophies like we did on Saturday," Martinez said. "... We have six points to get and finish the season on a real high."
Arsenal vs. Wigan starts at 2:45 p.m. ET on Tuesday. You can watch HERE.
