As "Dancing with the Stars" tradition follows - another week, another injury.
People reported that Danica McKellar is the latest contestant to suffer from an injury. The former "Wonder Years" star broke a rib Thursday during rehearsal for "Dancing with the Stars" Latin Night, scheduled to air this Monday.
McKellar tweeted about the injury to her over 90,000 Twitter followers on Friday, asking fans for a little support.
"So...I broke a rib in yesterday's #DWTS rehearsal. Trying my best to pull thru and could use your prayers!! #wanttokeepdancing," the 39-year-old actress wrote.
It is unclear whether McKellar will be able to dance her way through the pain, or be forced to sit out the next round of live shows. Her dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy also took to Twitter to address her injury, writing, "Very very tough week #very."
The pair has been doing well this current season, even coming just one point away from a perfect score for their Beauty and the Beast-themed routine during Disney week.
The current season of "Dancing with the Stars" has been largely injury-free. During week three of the dancing competition, contestant Billy Dee Williams withdrew from the show because of back and arthritis problems.
However, McKellar is not the first celebrity to injure themselves on the physically grueling show. Last year, Bill Nye, The Science Guy, hurt his knee on the show. He was voted off the show the following week.
In 2012 Maria Menounos suffered two broken ribs during rehearsals with partner Derek Hough. The dancing pair still managed to continue to compete. In 2011, "DWTS" pro Kym Johnson injured her neck while practicing with dance partner Hines Ward.
"Dancing with the Stars" airs Monday at 8 p.m. on ABC.
