Tori Spelling, Dean McDermott Divorce: Actress Hospitalized Amid Rumors of Alcohol, Pill Abuse?

Tori Spelling was released from the hospital on Saturday, Apr. 26 shortly before 3 p.m. According to E! News, the 40-year-old actress secretly checked into a Los Angeles hospital and is said to have been there for at least six days.

It's not clear why Spelling was admitted to the hospital but there have been rumors that she was abusing pills and alcohol to help her cope with her marriage issues. Paparazzi caught the actress being helped into an SUV by her husband Dean McDermott.

The two are currently in the middle of a marriage crisis after McDermott was caught cheating on Spelling. The couple is filming their marital problems for a Lifetime reality show, called "True Tori."

A source told E! that McDermott was by his wife's side and would stay at the hospital for up to 10 hours every day.

"He would arrive by 10 a.m. and didn't leave until 8 most nights. He seemed very stressed out and worried," a source said. "He would bring food and only left Tori to go outside to catch some air or to make a phone call."

According to reports, shortly after Spelling left the hospital she and McDermott resumed filming for their TV show. In an interview with US Weekly, Spelling spoke about her husband's cheating scandal saying that she never thought McDermott would do that to her.

The former "90210" star told the magazine that she was shocked to learn about his two-day affair with 28-year-old Emily Goodhand. When Spelling and McDermott first started dating, they were both married to different people, E! reports.

"He cheated on me. One of my worst fears came true," she told the magazine. "On some level I never thought it would really happen."

Even though the actor was unfaithful, Spelling explained that she didn't leave him because there are children involved. Together Spelling and McDermott have four children - Liam, 7, Stella, 5, Hattie, 2, and Finn, 20 months.

"For their sakes, I need to try to figure this out," she told US. "You don't stop loving someone because they do something really bad to you."

"He was my soul mate, but he completely broke my heart. It makes you not trust anything that's happened in your relationship," she added. "But until I figure it out, I don't want my kids to know any different. I owe this relationship more than just saying something horrible happened and dismissing it. I need to figure out if he can change."
