Danity Kane Reunion: Could Diddy's Former Band Make A Comeback Without Him?

The ladies of Danity Kane might be making a comeback.

The "Making the Band" group formed by Sean "Diddy" Combs in 2005 are known for their catchy hits, "Show Stopper" and "Damaged." They gained media attention and a solid fan base for about four years after singing to Diddy's Bad Boy Records. Danity Kane also went platinum for their 2006 self-titled album and 2008's "Welcome to the Dollhouse."

Members Shannon Bex, Aundrea Fimbres, Aubrey O'Day, Dawn Richard and D. Woods broke up for good in early 2009, according to the Huffington Post, when Diddy removed O'Day and Woods from the group, saying that the two girls had too much attitude in their dealings with him.

In an interview with a tabloid agency, Diddy said, "See, your [Aubrey's] attitude is gonna have you in a dark and lonely place...What you need to do, at the end of the day, is humblr yourself. I just want to work with the young lady that I signed, not the person that fame has made her."

Since then, TMZ reported that four of the five original members recently met for lunch with a new manager, with plans to get back together.

In a tabloid video posted on TMZ, a paparazzi cameraperson approaches Fimbres, Bex, O'Day, and Richard.

"What are you guys up to?" he asks in the video. "So I hear you guys are trying to make things work."

"We don't try to do anything," Fimbres replies.

"Are you guys getting back together?" he continues. "Are you guys working with Diddy right now?"

Fimbres audibly scoffs, while another band member jokes, "Who's that?"

Woods, who has been working on a solo career, was not included in the lunchtime date.

"It came to an end when it needed to," Woods said in an interview with Hollyscoop concerning Danity Kane's eventual breakup.
