Sandra Bullock in Talks to Portray Tupperware Exec Brownie Wise in New Film (VIDEO)

Sandra Bullock's hard work has earned her an Oscar, Academy Award and a Golden Globe - now the actress is reportedly pushing to portray Tupperware icon Brownie Wise in an upcoming movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"The Help" director Tate Taylor has written the script and signed on to direct the untitled film, which is based on the non-fiction book "Tupperware Unsealed" by Bob Kealing.

Mandeville Films/TV team David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman - who has produced "The Fighter," and "The Muppets" - have also signed on as producers of the film. Hoberman and Lieberman have reportedly developed a deal with Disney to host the film.

Tupperware saleswoman Brownie Wise tells the story of a sales executive who helped launch Tupperware parties.

Earl Silas Tupper, who founded the Tupperware Plastics Company in 1938, later teamed up with former Stanley Home Products sales representative Brownie Wise, who helped the product take off. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wise was first woman to appear on the cover of BusinessWeek in 1954. Wise and Tupper later dissolved their partnership after Wise was pushed out of the company. Wise died in 1992 at age 72.

There is no official indication yet on whether Bullock is attached to the project - the actress has merely expressed interest in the role. This character would be Bullock's first since her 2013 success, "Gravity".

Taylor's next film is the James Brown biopic "Get On Up," which opens on Aug. 1.
