Philadelphia forced a Game 7 against New York with their 5-2 win on Tuesday. Flyers winger Wayne Simmonds scored three goals, and goalie Steve Mason made 34 saves in the win.
"We're not ready to go home yet," Simmonds told the Associated Press. "... We knew the situation. You've got to get pumped up for games like this."
For Mason, it was about getting into rhythm early.
"It's always important to feel the puck early," Mason said. "I was able to make a couple of timely saves to start off the game and feel good for the rest of it. It was nice to be busy a little earlier in the game."
Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist made 19 saves and gave up four goals before being replaced by Cam Talbot after the second period, according to the Associated Press.
"I already started thinking about (Game 7)," Lundqvist said. "You don't want to analyze this too much. We have a Game 7 at home."
Carl Hagelin and Mats Zuccarello were the only Rangers players to find the back of the net on Tuesday, with both of their goals coming in the third period.
New York's focus has already shifted from Tuesday night's loss to closing out the series on Wednesday.
"It was one of those nights where we just couldn't execute," Rangers center Brad Richards said. "This team is not going to be thinking about what happened tonight. It's over once we get on the train. You have to move on quick."
