Mick Jagger, Sarah Jessica Parker and Celebrity Friends Mourn L'Wren Scott at Memorial

Mick Jagger, Julianne Moore, Sarah Jessica Parker and several family and friends attended a memorial service for the late L'Wren Scott in New York City on Friday, according to the Associated Press.

The service was held at Saint Bartholomew's Church on Park Avenue and included a musical performance from Jagger, Scott's longtime lover. The Rolling Stone frontman sang Bob Dylan's "Just Like a Woman" and shared some words about his longtime girlfriend, according to a statement from Jagger's publicist.

The AP reported that the service included tributes from Scott's brother, Randy Bambrough, his daughter, Hannah, who read a poem; Mick's son James Jagger and grandchildren Mazie and Zak, both of whom read Psalm 23. Also paying their respects were fashion journalist Cathy Horyn and sculptor Rachel Feinstein. Rolling Stones backup singer Lisa Fischer sang "Amazing Grace."

Andre Leon Talley, Ellen Barkin, Martin Scorsese, Meg Ryan, Olivia Munn, Baz Luhrman, film director Baz Luhrmann, Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter and Vogue Editor Anna Wintour also attended the service, which was officiated by Rev. Lynn C. Sanders, with a private reception held afterward. Fans lined against barricades to take photos of attendees.

ABC News reported that Scott committed suicide in March at the age of 49. The fashion designer's body was found hanging by a scarf inside of her eighth floor apartment on 11th Avenue. It was found "unconscious and unresponsive" by her assistant who called the police.

"I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way," Jagger said in a statement shortly after her death. "We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves. She had great presence and her talent was much admired, not least by me. . . . I will never forget her."

A small private funeral at Hollywood Forever Cemetery was held for Scott in Los Angeles in March.
