The Los Angeles Clippers play the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday in Game 1 of their second-round 2014 NBA playoff series. Tipoff is at 9:30 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream or listen to the radio broadcast with the links provided below.
Both the Clippers and the Thunder needed seven games to make it out of the first round. Los Angeles earned a spot in round two after closing out their series on Saturday against Golden State, 126-121.
For the Clippers, advancing to the second round was a small victory in itself given the turmoil created by the racist remarks of their owner, Donald Sterling, whom the NBA suspended indefinitely. While the future of the franchise, in terms of ownership and operation, is uncertain, the Clippers are focused solely on the task at hand: Winning a championship.
"For us, it's basketball," Clippers guard Chris Paul told the Associated Press. "Had we lost this game, it wasn't like they were going to let us go to the next round because of what we've been through. I think it just showed our will, our fight, and more so than getting through all that, it was getting through tonight."
Things won't be any easier for Los Angeles when they visit Oklahoma City for the first two games of the series.
"It's tough to win in OKC," Clippers forward Matt Barnes said. "These playoffs aren't going to be easy, but we've won there this season, and we're looking to go up there and get one."
Oklahoma City won their last two games against Memphis to close out the series. Their 120-109 win in Game 7 saw Thunder forward Kevin Durant and guard Russell Westbrook score a combined 60 points.
