Even though the 19-year-old was eliminated on Thursday's "American Idol", finishing in third place, Angie Miller is wasting no time getting her music started.
She revealed to fans tweeting that her first single, "You Set Me Free," will be released on iTunes Friday.
Miller wrote the song herself and performed it during Hollywood Week on the show this season immediately positioning herself as frontrunner.
Miller took a lot of risks this season by performing original songs and belting out tunes while playing the piano. The risks paid off and helped Miller secure a spot in the top three.
"Every Thursday night is always shocking. It's always an emotional, crazy night, but I mean, I did feel confident in my performances and everything," she told Parade. "Even though it's the end of American Idol, this is just the start. This is the beginning, and now I can start planning my future."
Miller says being on the show has taught her so much about herself and helped her figure out who she was as an artist.
"I just know what I like and don't like...I've learned so much about how to deal with things and to remain true to yourself throughout everything that flows around you. It's an incredible growing process this show."
You can see Angie on the American Idol LIVE! Tour. The concert launches June 29 in St. Louis, Miss. and stops in major cities including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami before wrapping in Nashville, Tenn. on Aug. 31. Get the full list of tour dates here.
Miller's elimination leaves Candice Glover and Kree Harrison to battle it out for the top spot. The season finale airs tonight on Fox at 8 p.m. EST.
