Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift are BFFs again. The two reunited at the Met Gala in New York on May 5 and instead of an awkward run-in, Gomez and Swift apparently patched things up. Gomez posted a super cute video to her Instagram account of herself and Swift dancing around at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where the event was held.
In the 30-second clip, the pop stars danced, laughed and made silly faces for the camera as music played in the background.
"And during... sometimes you wanna just be you with someone who knows all your secrets," Gomez captioned the video.
According to Hollywood Life, Swift and the "Slow Down" singer had a falling out over Justin Bieber. It's no secret that the "Red" singer is not a fan of the Biebs and she definitely didn't like that Gomez rekindled a relationship with the 20-year-old pop star at the beginning of the year.
Now that Gomez has reportedly broken up with Bieber, Swift is ready to be friends again. A source previously told Hollywood Life, that Swift knew all along that she and Gomez would reunite one day.
"Taylor's hopeful that they will eventually be friends again," a source previously told the site. "She misses Selena, but she's not interested in being friends with her if Justin is still in her life. Taylor thinks he's like an addiction for Selena and she's not going to enable her. This is tough love, but for sure Taylor still loves Selena, she always will."
According to reports, Gomez ended her relationship with Bieber after attending Coachella Music Festival. The 21-year-old pop star went to festival with Bieber and reality stars Kendall and Kylie Jenner but it was apparently too much for her too handle.
A source told TMZ that they were surrounded by alcohol and drugs the entire time and Gomez is determined to keep her life on track. Following the festival, she reportedly made the decision to remove "toxic" people from her life and felt like Bieber and the Jenner sister needed to be cut.
"We're told Selena is determined to stay on the straight and narrow - focusing on music and, get this... going to church almost daily," TMZ wrote.
