The Portland Trail Blazers play the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday in Game 1 of their second-round 2014 NBA playoff series. Tipoff is at 9:30 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream or listen to the radio broadcast via the links provided below.
San Antonio needed seven games to defeat the eighth-seeded Dallas Mavericks and advance to the second round. While playing in Game 7 didn't allow any extra days of rest, it did send the Spurs into Tuesday's matchup with added confidence after blowing out Dallas on Sunday, 119-96.
Arguably the most exciting matchup of the upcoming series will be between guards Tony Parker and Damian Lillard. Parker is well aware it will be a battle of youth versus experience.
"He can do everything," Parker told the Associated Press of Lillard. "He can shoot from the outside, penetrate and so we're going to try to do some stuff to try to contain him. You're not going to stop him."
Another player the Spurs will have trouble stopping is Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge.
"I think LaMarcus is a younger Dirk (Nowitzki) who can shoot and drive, play in the post (and do) a lot of things, so it's not going to be easy," Spurs center Tiago Splitter said. "We know that. I think all the team is aware of that; everybody is going to help a little bit."
Portland advanced to the second round after Lillard hit a game-winning 3-pointer in the closing seconds of Game 6 against the Houston Rockets.
"Guys are going to be confident, but still have to think about the way that we got here, working hard and grinding it out," Aldridge said. "I think guys are definitely going to be more confident but this is new territory for most of us."
