"Guardians of the Galaxy" has released new images of Chris Pratt in his Star Lord mask.
You can check out the photos in the slideshow above. "Guardians of the Galaxy" also stars Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon and Vin Diesel as Groot. The Marvel film is slated to hit theaters on Aug. 1.
In other Marvel news, "X-Men: Days of Future Past" star Jennifer Lawrence could be getting her own Mystique film. Writer-producer Simon Kinberg recently teased to Yahoo! Movies the idea cause caught his attention, but he is unsure if a Mystique film is in development.
"I have no idea if there will be a Mystique spinoff," Kinberg told Yahoo at a WonderCon presentation. "We got Jen's makeup [application] down from I think seven or eight hours on 'X-Men: First Class' to about three or four on this film, which is pretty awful but at least it's not torture. On the last film, I think she'd have to get there sometimes at midnight the night before we shot and sit in that makeup trailer and I guess just sleep until we started. This was more bearable and we were more conscious of when she was blue not having her sit around."
"She's great and there are so many different ways you could go with the character and a lot of story to tell," Kinberg said. "Part of the challenge of these movies we're talking about is to give everybody enough drama to play, so the notion of Jen being the lead in her own movie is interesting."
"X-Men: Days of Future Past" is slate to hit theaters May 23.
