Taco Bell's newly launched spicy chicken cool ranch doritos locos taco has shredded chicken in a cool ranch doritos taco shell.

The company unveiled its fourth kind of chip and taco product combination Thursday according to a press release.

Taco Bell's chief marketing officer said other locos tacos flavors have kept the product hot.

"The Doritos Locos Tacos continues to be widely popular, and after launching Nacho Cheese, Cool Ranch and Fiery DLT, we knew it was time to put a different twist on the menu item," Chris Brandt said in a statement. "We've innovated on the outside and now we're innovating on the inside to make one of our best tasting tacos ever."

Brandt also mentioned Taco Bell's social media efforts played a big role in promoting the famous food.

"When it comes to social media, we want our fans to feel like our friends, experiencing from us the latest cool and interesting news and trends," Brandt said. "We have built a reputation as a brand willing to take risks and be unexpected - yet extraordinary - socially, and with the new Spicy Chicken Cool Ranch DLT, we are taking our established platforms like Tumblr to the next level."

A regular taco has 170 calories and nine grams of fat for $1.59. A supreme version has 200 calories and eleven grams of total fat for $1.89, according to a company press release.

The Spicy Chicken DLT also comes in a Fresco Style - this has 110 calories, and four grams of fat.

According to Fox News, the coveted item will stay on the menu if customers continue to show interest.

Over 825 million doritos locos tacos have sold since March 2012, the press release reported.

Taco Bell launched a regular doritos locos taco March 8, according to information on the Mexican fast food giant's website.
