It will be a girl for Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi.
Us Weekly reported that the 26-year-old reality star announced the sex of her and fiancé Jionni LaValle's unborn baby in a YouTube video on Thursday. While holding her 20-month-old son Lorenzo in the clip the former "Jersey Shore" star open a bin and a bunch of pink balloons float out.
"Well, there you have it," Snooki said in the video. "We're having a little girl. I don't know how to feel about it: I'm terrified but we're really, really excited."
Lorenzo looked disinterested but did have fun playing with the balloons. Snooki, who wore a black tank top, was beaming.
Snooki, who announced she was pregnant for the second time in early April, is still in the early stages of her pregnancy. She previously stated that she and LaValle have been trying to have a second baby since last November and were taking pregnancy test every month.
Snooki previously told Extra "If it's a boy or it's a girl, as long as the baby's healthy, we're gonna be very, very happy. But me and Jionni would like to have two boys."
"Everybody in our family has a boy and then a girl, or a girl and a boy, so we kind of want two boys to switch it up and make it different," she explained. "Plus, I'm not ready to have a miniature me. I don't need a diva telling me what to do. I'm not ready for that."
Snooki and LaValle reportedly plan to get married in October after getting engaged in March 2012. The wedding will reportedly be covered on the fourth season of "Snooki & JWoww". The nuptials will have a Great Gatsby theme with the cast of both her MTV shows present.
"The wedding is like a month after the baby, which is why I'm doing this fit pregnancy," she told MTV. "After you give birth, you can't really work out. You have to recover ... and I'm going to need to squeeze into my dress!'
In a pervious blog post she wrote: "My wedding colors are gold and black, so [the maid of honor] will be trying on million gold and black dresses. Dresses that I love, and dresses that are hideous just to give me a laugh. I am SO excited for my fall wedding, and thank god the planning has not given me a headache yet."
