Four people were found fatally shot in a California home on Thursday in a possible murder-suicide, the New York Daily News reported.
The bodies of two males and two females were discovered by Pomona officers after concerned relatives called authorities.
The names of the victims have not been released.
According to The Associated Press, a 28-year-old man fatally shot a woman in her 50s, her 25-year-old daughter, and 17-year-old son before turning the gun on himself.
Each victim was found in their respective bedroom and police discovered no signs of a struggle. Officials told the Daily News that homicide detectives are treating the case as a possible murder-suicide.
The suspect lived at home, Pomona Police Lt. Michael Keltner told The AP.
Further details on the investigation were not available as the investigation is ongoing.
Pomona, located about 30 miles east of Los Angeles, has a population of around 150,000 people.
Last week, two adults and two children were found shot in an alleged murder-suicide attempt in Texas.
The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office announced both parents died and two children were injured.
A 15-year-old girl and 11-year-old boy were airlifted to the hospital with unknown conditions. Deputies said the girl called 911.
A gun was recovered from the scene. While an investigation was still ongoing, a sheriff's office spokesman said investigators believed the incident was likely a murder-suicide.
Police said there was no sign of forced entry at the home and do not have any suspects at this time.
One of the family's neighbors, Seve Villani, lived near the family for 11 years and never realized anything out of the ordinary.
"Very surprising, very happy family," Villani told News 92. "We said hi to them every day. No problem at all."
