The "Star Wars Episode 7" has announced their core cast members, but have yet to reveal the character names for the newcomers.
However, The Latino Review speculates the possible roles for stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis Domhnall Gleeson and Max von Sydow. Check out the rumors below:
Domhnall Gleeson is a good bet for Ben Skywalker (don't know what he's going to be called yet, so I'm going to be guessing based on Expanded Universe names unless otherwise noted), I can see the resemblance. Anthony Daniels is over with Mark Hamill, because C-3PO, I guess?
On the other side is a good chunk of the Solo family: Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Daisy Ridley, who's probably Jiana Solo or a proxy. The bad-boys corner of John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, and Andy Serkis can't all be villains. I'd peg Boyega as the Han Solo of this installment, getting caught up in Skywalker/Solo family business while serving a new form of Galactic Government. Driver seems like a great possibility for a villain with understandable motivations.
You can read more about the character speculation here. Though not much is known about the "Star Wars Episode 7" cast, Disney CEO Bob Iger has confirmed during the Walt Disney Company quarterly earning stockholders call there will be three more "Star Wars" films set to launch after "Episode 7", according to Slash Films.
"In another event last year, Disney's chief financial officer Jay Rasulo referred to these spin off movies not as 'spin-offs,' but as 'origin story films,'" Slash Films reports. "That's why the rumors of them being about Boba Fett, in between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, and Han Solo - between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope - made so much sense. A potential Yoda origin would have to go back before any canon material exists, which is a very exciting proposition."
"Star Wars Episode 7" will be release to theaters on December 18, 2015.
