Pizza Man Cocaine Delivery: Papa John's Delivery Man Part of Drug-Trafficking Ring

A pizza delivery man has been arrested in New York after he was busted selling cocaine to undercover cops while using his delivery gig at Papa John's as a cover for his sales.

Ramon Rodriguez, 45, had been using his gig at the Fifth Avenue Papa John's in Sunset Park as a way to conceal his cocaine dealings, often hiding the stuff in pizza boxes and engaging in handoffs while in uniform, according to Pix 11.

The pizza and cocaine delivery man was arrested on multiple counts of sale and possession of a controlled substance Wednesday, after he allegedly dealt cocaine to undercover officers 19 times in the last two years.

Police made the arrest when Rodriguez allegedly left the restaurant with $27,000 worth of cocaine in an insulated pizza delivery bag, a pizza and a box of Papa's Chicken Poppers, according to the report.

Rodriguez was a part of a drug-trafficking ring and used his job as a delivery guy to conceal his undercover work as a cocaine dealer. He would hide the drugs inside food boxes (sometimes with food inside) and would make the deliveries while he was on a shift at Papa John's.
