'Batman vs. Superman' Movie Batsuit Update: 'Man of Steel 2' Costume Designer Teases Reveal On Twitter: 'Not Long Now'

The big Batsuit and Wonder Woman armor reveal for the "Batman vs. Superman" production is quickly approaching, according to "Man of Steel 2" costume designer Michael Wilkinson.

The designer took to his official Twitter account to respond to a fan that is eager for the big reveal. Wilkinson teased it is "no long now" before fans will finally get to see his new designs.

Director Zack Snyder has expressed his excitement about seeing Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot and Henry Cavill in costume together. Snyder recently spoke with Forbes about his first encounter with costumes.

"The thing also that's really fascinating for me is that, even just in the tests we've been doing, the costumes, right? You basically have Batman and Superman - and this is without Ben [Affleck] and Henry [Cavill] in the costumes, but just like the stand-ins, just testing to see what the costumes look like," Snyder told Forbes. "And you have them standing there and they're standing in the same shot - and then we have Wonder Woman, you know, all three of them in the same shot. Even just for a test, you really have to go, 'Wow, that's crazy!'"

It is unclear how the Batsuit and Wonder Woman armor will be revealed, but Snyder has already took to his official Twitter account to release an image of the new Batmobile. Snyder could be planning to release the photos on social media, but multiple reports have speculated the reveal will occur on magazine covers. The production has yet to confirm the date of the big costume reveal. However, there has been even less information released regarding the film's official title. "Batman vs. Superman" actress Tao Okamoto claims the film's title has yet to finalize, and she isn't scheduled to film on set until June, according to the Daily Beast. "Batman vs. Superman" will be released to theaters on May 6, 2016.
