LG's new lifeband Touch and LG Heart Rate Earphones will hit Best Buy store shelves on Sunday.
According to a press release, consumers can also buy the gadgets at Fry's, HH Gregg, and Newegg for suggested retail prices of $149.99 and $179.99 toward mid-June.
LG's director of new product development for home entertainment products said the devices will help people achieve their goals to live healthier and exercise.
"Here at LG, we know that everyone is trying to live a healthier lifestyle, and we want to help make that as easy as possible," Tim Alessi said in a statement. "With the introduction of our wearable fitness products and the new LG Fitness app, users will be able to become more aware of their activity level and make smarter decisions on a daily basis to help impact their overall wellness."
The LG Lifeband Touch allows users to see when contacts are trying to get in touch with them via phone call or text message, according to the press release.
Users can also regulate music controls on the device's Touch Activity Tracker screen - this allows folks to stay connected and continuously hear songs while they exercise.
Consumers have the option of turning off the device's Caller ID while working out, so calls or texts do not bother them.
While the device itself does not track a user's workout progress, LG's Fitness app gives exercisers a brief summary of their regimen along with a complete analysis of their goals.
The LG Lifeband Touch is compatible with the Android and iOS operating systems. The Lifeband Touch works with Apple's iOS 6 and iOS 7 operating systems for iPhone and iPod Touch - the Android 4.3, and 4.4 Kit Kat OS also work.
Android 4.2 is compatible with the LG G2 mobile device and Galaxy S4.
