The New York Rangers play the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday in Game 7 of their second-round 2014 NHL playoff series. The game begins at 7:00 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream or listen to the radio broadcast via the links provided below.
New York forced Game 7 by evening the series on Sunday with a 3-1 win. Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist made 36 saves in the victory, and Martin St. Louis, Carl Hagelin and Derick Brassard all scored one goal apiece.
The goal from St. Louis marked his third of the postseason. St. Louis admitted he's just happy to contribute after the warm embrace he received from his new teammates upon being traded to the Rangers in February.
"I think when something like that happens to one person to see the support you get from everybody else, it really makes it real," he told the Associated Press. "There's not phoniness about the family feeling you want to create."
One of the big reasons New York was able to force a seventh game by winning two straight games is because of Lundqvist, who's allowed just two goals over the last two games. The veteran goalie has a 9-2 record with New York when facing elimination, according to the Associated Press.
"He takes his game up to another level," Rangers coach Alain Vigneault said. "But this Game 7 against this team, it's going to have to be a team level. It's going to have to be everybody taking their game to another level."
Pittsburgh, meanwhile, will hope to avoid penalties and keep their emotions in check.
"With a minute left in the game, emotions run high," Penguins captain Sidney Crosby said. "I don't think that's why we lost. We put ourselves in a bad position early. We fought hard and tried to get back, but you can't continue to do that in the playoffs. You can't start like that."
