Chicago, up 3-2 in the series, can advance to the next round with a win on Tuesday. The Blackhawks ended a two-game losing streak on Sunday with a 2-1 win. Bryan Bickell and Jonathan Toews both scored goals, and goalie Corey Crawford made 27 saves.

"As the game went on, we found ways to play better as a five-man unit," Toews told the Associated Press. "Once one line would generate a good shift and get us some energy, the next line would follow it right up. I think that's when we're an effective team, when we have four lines going like that and contributing."

Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville applauded his team for coming out on top in another close game.

"The whole game, the whole series has been very tight," he said. "Still not a lot of room and space, but that's what we've got to fight through. I thought we showed more determination in the puck area tonight."

Minnesota's lone goal of the night came from Erik Haul. Although the Wild face elimination, star Zach Parise is confident his team can force a seventh game if they leave it all out on the ice on Tuesday.

"We just need a better effort," Parise said. "Not that it was terrible. I mean, we had our chance to win at the end of the game. We did some things really well. But I think we can be better, and we know we can be better."
