Los Angeles snapped a two-game losing streak on Sunday with a 101-99 win. Clippers stars Blake Griffin and Chris Paul scored 25 and 23 points, respectively, and Darren Collison scored 18 points off the bench.
Even more impressive than the individual stats was how the Clippers overcome a 16-point deficit in the fourth quarter to earn the win.
"Every body kept telling each other, 'Chip away, chip away,'" Griffin told the Associated Press. "That was kind of our mentality for the rest of the game. We just kept fighting."
Paul added: "This is one of the best ones yet. Darren Collison was amazing. You just got to love a guy like that who plays with so much heart and never gives up."
Clippers coach Doc Rivers commended his team and told reporters he expects Oklahoma City is angry about blowing the lead.
"We were almost on the mat and we got off it. We didn't get pinned," Rivers said. "They're seething right now. They had an opportunity to go up 3-1 and now it's an even series."
Thunder stars Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook scored 40 and 27 points, respectively, yet were unable to come away with the win. Point guard Reggie Jackson was the only other Thunder player to score in the double digits, finishing with 10 points.
