Collins Twin 'I'm The Straight One': Jarron Gets Help From Jimmy Kimmel To Distinguish Himself From Twin Brother Jason (VIDEO)

Jarron Collins and his twin brother Jason appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Wednesday night, where Kimmel offered a solution to help clarify the brothers' identities.

During the course of the interview, Jarron admitted that many people often confuse him for Jason. The mistake is understandable given how similar the twins look, and it's something Jarron has grown accustomed to since his brother came out in May as gay.

"They look at their smart phones and double-check for a profile pic. But I would say that the interaction in public has been supportive," Jarron told Kimmel. "It's, 'Hey are you Jason?' 'No, I'm Jarron.' 'I just love what your brother did,' sort of thing."

Kimmel offered a remedy to the problem and presented Jarron a T-shirt that read, "I'm The Straight One."

"It'll save me a lot of time," Jarron joked.

Kimmel's joke was good-natured, and Jarron even took to the streets wearing the shirt.

Jarron, 34, admitted he was surprised but supportive when Jason became the first active professional athlete to openly come out. Like his brother, Jarron also played in the NBA. The Utah Jazz selected Jarron in the second round of the 2001 NBA draft. He retired in 2001.

Jarron receives his gift in the video below.
