Portland kept their postseason alive behind the efforts of guard Damian Lillard, who scored a game-high 25 points. Lillard was one of five Trail Blazers to score in the double digits, including forward LaMarcus Aldridge's 19 points, guard Will Barton's 17 points and forward Nicolas Batum's 14 points.

Batum also chipped in with 14 rebounds and eight assists, helping Portland avoid a series sweep.

"Why not us? No, it's never been done before," Batum told the Associated Press. "We now it's going to be tough. It won't be easy, especially against this team. ...

"We had nothing to lose tonight. We had no pressure. It was do or die. So we just go out there and play."

For San Antonio, it appeared to be an off night.

"The energy was weird tonight," Spurs veteran Tony Parker said. "You have to give a lot of credit to Portland. They played great. They came out of the gates and I thought Batum was great tonight. He gave them a big boost."

Spurs guard Danny Green credited Barton's performance off the bench as a big reason Portland was able to extend the series.

"Any time you get a boost off the bench it's always good for a momentum swing," Green said. "When he comes in and gets the crowd into it, they pretty much get it going, and it helped them a lot."

Parker led the Spurs with 14 points, and veteran Tim Duncan added 12 points and nine rebounds.
