Anaheim can close out the series on Wednesday with a win. After dropping the second and third games of the series, the Ducks bounced back with three straight wins. Their latest victory was a 4-3 win on Monday, where they withstood a near-comeback by Los Angeles in the third period.

Ducks winger Devante Smith-Pelly scored two of Anaheim's goals, and goaltender John Gibson made 39 saves in the second playoff start of his career.

"They answered the bell again," Ducks veteran Teemu Selanne told the Associated Press. "Devo has all the tools. Gibby is rock-solid. They're pretty special players, and they both took care of it for us tonight. You need special contributions from everybody to do what we're trying to do."

Los Angeles needs a win to extend the series. One key to winning, according to Kings winger Marian Gaborik, is attacking Gibson early and often.

"We were talking about how we have to get to Gibson, and if we do, things are happening," Gaborik said. "If we get shots through and try to go to the net, rebounds are there, and we got some chances. We have to keep doing that and we have to clean a lot of stuff up. We're coming home. We're confident we can win and come back here."
