Jameis Winston Crab Legs Video Footage Surfaces Weeks After Incident (WATCH)

New video footage shows Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Jameis Winston walking out of a Tallahassee, Fla., Publix with crab legs in tow on April 29th.

TMZ Sports recently obtained the surveillance video, which was then publicized on Thursday.

Winston received an adult civil citation for reportedly shoplifting $32.72 worth of crab legs from Publix grocery store, Michael Wood, director of law enforcement for Leon County told USA Today at the time.

Police reportedly showed up to Winston's residence a few days after the incident for questioning. The athlete said he did not remember to pay for the seafood.

An inside source told Complex Magazine that shoplifters often visit the Florida State University on-campus store.

"That Publix is basically on campus and is a notorious place to stop by when s***faced and just walk around eating the food," the source said. "I've seriously stole about $200 worth of fried chicken from that Publix."

Following a suspension, Winston is back on the Seminoles baseball team after completing 20 community service hours for the Leon County Sherriff's civil citation program.

Florida State football coach Jimbo Fisher previously said he backed the FSU baseball coach's decision and believed the athlete would correct the situation.

"I fully support Coach Martin's decision and will also make sure that Jameis meets all obligations, which I know he will," Fisher said in a statement.

"As a result of his citation last night, we are suspending Jameis Winston from the baseball team," Martin wrote in a statement of his own. "I am confident he will complete his community service obligation and the situation will be resolved soon."

Winston's attorney Tim Jansen and the FSU athletics department did not respond to phone calls, according to USA Today.

Tomahawknation.com reportedly first broke the story, but did not disclose where their information came from.
